Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
At the moment these are all the team i think, have an good chance and an outside shot at finishing 4th.
Basically Liverpool need to start winning games back to back, and in this month they have a perfect opportunity to do so with games coming around thick and fast.
ITS ACHIEVABLE!
| 4 | Tottenham | 20 | 7 | 36 |
| 5 | Chelsea | 20 | 18 | 35 |
| 6 | Sunderland | 21 | 2 | 30 |
| 7 | Bolton | 21 | 5 | 29 |
| 8 | Stoke | 20 | 1 | 27 |
| 9 | Liverpool | 19 | -1 | 25 |
| 10 | Blackpool | 18 | -4 | 25 |
| 11 | Blackburn | 21 | -8 | 25 |

Exactly! we fully expect Spurs and City to go through a "bad spell" simply because they havent had one this season. This is when we need to take full advantage.

I guess we have to hope for an,
Arsenal win
Villa win
Wigan win
Everton win
and ofcourse a Liverpool win, just so we can climb up the table into a respectable position.

Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
I think we are well out of the running for 4th place. With our current form, it's hard to see us going on a winning streak with Roy Hodgson as our manager.

Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
Well if you were to believe the rumours, Roy Hodgson is going to get the sack any day now ??
Im very confidant that we CAN go on a winning run between now and the end of the season, with most of our players coming back from injury, we can mount a serious challenge on that top 4 place.

Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
I kept believing we can go on a run of wins and then came games like Stoke,Wolves, etc and I just stopped hoping. This season is doomed IMO and will be lucky to get 7th by the end of the year(unless ofcourse Roy gets the boot)

Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
Liverpool's Next 5 Premier League Fixtures:
Blackburn vs Liverpool
Liverpool vs Everton
Wolves vs Liverpool
Liverpool vs Fulham
Liverpool vs Stoke
Blackburn away from home is always tricky because of their physical strength. In derby's form goes out the window although we will be looking to take revenge on our own ground. Wolves are bottom of the league but we said that at home and they walked all over is. Fulham have a dreadful away record and Stoke will be another tough physical game.

I will be very surprised out of those 15 points available, if we were not to get over 10 points atleast.

Im confident we can get 9 points from out home matches. Blackburn game is screaming out for a draw but with Wolves you never know what your gonna get.

I honestly think we can beat Blackburn this Wednesday, we show the same level of committment in the 2nd half against bolton as we do in this game - we will win.

Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
The derby is biggest one, but they are all winnable should we carry the comittment in second half of Bolton game into 90 minutes of all them, consistency is the key right now, there in hiding place should we fail to perform in these upcoming games and players will know this and will look to put last year behind them once and for all.

I agree... I just can't see us winning many games back to back.

Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
It is so hard to preict our games this season, matches I thought we would win we lost(Wolves) and games I thought we would lose we won (Chelsea) our away form is poor soI can see us turning that around soon. However I think we should take at least 7 points if not all nine from our 3 home games.

Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
We fans simply have to remian positive and back the team all the way...weather its Hodgson or Dalgish. If we win against Blackburn on wednesday with a good performance...i may start to think weve turned a corner.

Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
This is shocking, yet another false dawn shown by the players!
How the fu*k can we be 2-0 down to Blackburn, there manager was sacked only 2/3 weeks ago! FFS!
GET HODGSON AND THAT SHIT DEFENCE OUT OF LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB NOW!

Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
We can't put a run of games together atm because we're so poor away from home. New manager, new players in January and a fresh start please!!

Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
I would prefer if we snap a new manager now rather than later... Atleast he could try to organise the squad snap a few new players, get us in a decent postion and perpare for a busy summer working with the squad.

Re: The Race for a Top 4 Finish
If we go an a mad run and citeh, chelsea, spurs drop points then you never know!!
But with chelsea snapping torres and the other fella i guess they will hit form again. Top 4 does look out of reach for sure.
