Hulk (FC Porto)
Tottenham and Liverpool target open to Premier League move
Tottenham transfer target Hulk has opened the door for a move to the Premier League, but he will only come to a club challenging for the league title, according to an interview with GloboEsporte in his native Brazil.
The Porto striker insisted he is open to making the switch to England, with Newcastle and Liverpool said to be planning a summer swoop.
The Brazilian has caught the eye of Premier League managers this season, particularly Harry Redknapp, after his 22 goals helped Porto to their 25th league title.
The Spurs boss missed out on signing Hulk in January but will be reassessing his options ahead of the summer transfer window.
Hulk said: "The Premier League is one of the biggest tournaments in the world and I want to play where people fight for titles and where there is an ambitious plan for the future.
"I like the Premier League, the Bundesliga, and Serie A, so I can not choose a particular championship, but my choice will be based around the club rather than the league." Ed: That'll be Liverpool then.

Re: Hulk (FC Porto)
I'd love Hulk. He's built for the PL, physically so strong. I'd worry about him being so left-footed though.

I've seen him play like once or twice and I don't remember him having much pace.

Re: Hulk (FC Porto)
If we did buy him, I doubt he would be a starter...but he would be fantastic to come in and hold up the ball.
He can be very useful for us.

No way would he come in and be on the bench! This guy is quality!
Maybe on the right side of the front 3 but not on the bench. Porto play 4-3-3 now and he plays there anyway so he's be suited to that formation.
Anyway this thread can be put to bed, he's just signed a new contract until 2016.

Its just about fitting in into the team, its very difficult to do so.
But if you say hes signed a new contract. No need for any more discussion.

Hulk would be quality and I'm sure the LFC fans will come up with some sort of great song for him if he joined!
