Sterling Signs Professional Contract

Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling has signed his first professional contract with the club shortly after his 17th birthday.

The starlet came of Premier League age on the 8th December, and no time was wasted in tying him down to a long-term deal. The wing wizard is widely expected to be promoted into the peripheries of the first team over the coming seasons, and is expected to go on to great things at Anfield.

Fantastic news for the future of Liverpool Football Club. This young man has gone from strength to strength since he first arrived at Liverpool. Hes effectively transformed the winger position for the reserves. Hes only 17 years old aswell. So much more development can be done to his game in the next 24 months. Hope he breaks through around 18/19.

In fairness his form has dipped drastically the past few months. Hopefully he can get back to how he was playing before.
