Wenger has 'no plans to retire'
Wenger - I will NOT quit
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists he has no plans to retire from football as he approaches his 60th birthday later this month.
The Frenchman, who has been with the Gunners since 1996, says he still has the hunger and physical strength to bring trophies to the club.
"I don't believe in retiring unless you have to," he told a League Managers Association conference.
"I have never had a day when I think I could live without football."
Wenger has come under pressure over his failure to win a trophy since the 2005 FA Cup but, although he believed he would retire at 50, he will celebrate his 60th birthday on 22 October.
Sir Alex Ferguson, the Manchester United manager, was talked out of his plans to retire when he turned 60 in 2001 and the Gunners boss says he will keep going too.
He added: "In our job you need physical strength and to be a bit of an animal to convince people it's important to win.

Good to hear that one of the top top bosses in the world is staying in england and has no plans to move away or retire. i have a huge ammount of respect for Mr.Wenger, the way he approaches football games, his unique ideas on the training field and his policy on young players what a brave and bold move, people would argue that is hasnt worked since the havent won any sliverwear but i disagree these young guns are amazing players and if Wenger was so buy another 20 million player just add some expereince into the team they can go all the way!!

Re: Wenger has 'no plans to retire'
Agree same here i have lots of respect for wenger aswel. In the premiership wenger is known for buying young prospects and turning them into stars. His teams usually provide some brilliant football and at times its jsut out of this world. Only prob for wenger is he needs experience to blend in with youth i guess. Anyhow top manager.
